nix-shield

Turn a flake input’s last-updated date into a Markdown badge.

A public HTTP(S) URL returning raw JSON, without redirects or URL credentials. Private upstreams may be allowlisted by the server.
The input name in your root flake. Leave blank for nixpkgs.
Shields options · optional
Blank options keep the endpoint’s defaults: the input name as label, the nixos logo, and Shields’ default color.
A Simple Icons slug or custom base64 image data URI.
Logo color and auto sizing apply to Simple Icons, not custom logos.
Colors accept hex, rgb(a), hsl(a), or CSS names. Error badges may override the badge color.
Shields ignores values below its inferred default cache lifetime.
Repeated link parameters only work in an HTML <object>. They do not make Markdown images clickable.
